Artist Dianna Fary at Holtom's Art Studios, Paekākāriki
The Kāpiti Coast Art Trail is back in spring, with a change to the dates to include the long Labour Weekend in October – great news if you're planning a spring visit!
The Art Trail still runs across two weekends, starting with Labour Day Weekend. Most artists will be open on all three days, giving you more time to explore, meet artists, and enjoy the Trail at a relaxed pace.

Whether you’re planning a long‑weekend escape or a relaxed follow‑up visit, this is your invite to make a trip of it and enjoy everything the Kāpiti Coast has to offer.
The Art Trail is the perfect excuse to turn your visit into a Kāpiti getaway.

Staying a little longer means you won’t have to rush – and there's nothing quite like Kāpiti in spring, when the coast comes to life. Discover just how much there is to see and do beyond the Trail whether you're visiting with family, as a couple, with friends or planning a girls’ (or boys’) weekend away.
If you’re coming from out of town, it’s a good idea to book your accommodation early and plan your Art Trail visit around a full weekend (or long weekend) on the coast.
